The big saloon which is the centrepiece of the Rhein-Mosel-Hall in the convention centre in Koblenz was improved functionally and decoratively by using perforated MDF-boards. The saloon which is used for totally different events has to fulfil high requirements for acoustics. The MDF boards with 58 per cent open surface in combination with the heavy curtains in ist back create better acoustics and provide a unique ambiance.
