CELLON®– the alternative to eternit for cladding systems

Eternit cladding systems and interior wall claddings are mainly used for insulation. A conventional building material is cement fiber boards or eternit cladding systems. Although these linings meet the requirements for insulation and wetness protection, they often do not meet the high requirements for individual designs. Bruag AG uses the material CELLON® for ventilated facades and other linings. CELLON® is considered an alternative to eternit cladding systems. The processing techniques of Bruag AG make it possible to make the material much more individual. In addition of being used as a smooth, ventilated panel, it can also be used as an individual perforated facade. It is thus also very suitable for residential buildings and presents an inexpensive alternative.

Eternit cladding system versus CELLON® – Advantages

CELLON®, the eternit alternative, is a compact high-pressure laminate. The material consists of 70 percent cellulose and 30 percent phenolic resin. CELLON® panels can be used in drywall construction for both, indoor and outdoor areas. The plates can be installed more easily than the cement fiber boards, since they are much lighter and secondly less brittle and fragile. Comparing eternit cladding systems and CELLON® you find a water-resistant, long-lasting system, which does not damage the facade in long term periods. The special advantage is the possibility of most varied designs with eternit alternative. Bruag AG uses state-of-the-art laser technology to create special designs for wall and facade slabs. In this way, the CELLON® plates can be cut according to individual requirements, with decorative incisions, patterns and ornaments.

Bruag AG relies on high quality standard and individuality

In addition, more than 3,000 colour variations are available for the design of the Eternit Alternative CELLON® (RAL, NCS S, Bruag Alu and Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier). The design has virtually no limits. The eternit alternative can also be used for the decorative facade design of residential buildings, representative buildings or cultural buildings. Architects can produce their creativity in a professional facade design and complete freedom. With CELLON®, almost every facade planning can be implemented individually according to the wishes of the architects and customers, since the laser technology enables the implementation of almost every design, and without any extra cost to standard perforations. Ventilated facades do not have an industrial and monotonous effect with the eternit alternative. The laminate also does not tend to become brittle after extended periods of time due to temperature influences and ageing processes.

The flexible Eternit alternative CELLON® – versatile and favorable

Facade panels manufactured from the eternit alternative CELLON® show several advantages from eternit cladding systems, and are more versatile and infinitely flexible. The material is specially designed by Bruag AG according to customer requirements. Even very individual and unusual facade designs can thus be easily implemented. Customers enjoy even a few price advantages with the Eternit alternative. The modern laser technologies allow the cost-effective, fast implementation of individual customer requirements. The simpler and therefore time-saving assembly of the perfectly cut elements also has a price-reducing effect. This means that fewer working hours are required for the installation of the facade slabs.
