The architecture of the Swiss Embassy in the United Arab Emirates provides a modern image of the home country. To give additional character to the rooms, the designer decided to use perforated MDF panels as a double-sided room partition. The 16mm thick panels have been cut using a customized pattern, in the form of snow crystals, thereby demonstrating another aspect of Bruag's flexibility: thanks to an appropriate sub construction, the panels have been curved exactly to the wishes of the customer. The connecting panels which facilitate the curvature not only serve as stabilizers, but can also be used as a bookshelf.
